My name is Kaylyn, it would take hours to tell you all about me because I am definitely a talker! I am a life-style / wedding photographer based in Eastern North Carolina however I am willing to go where ever your love wants to take me! I love Jesus, my husband, and our fur babies Oakley + Cash. Ever since I was young photos have always been something I loved. From the shoe box of polaroid's and negatives in my grandparents closet to my moms designated photo cabinet organized in albums and boxes. I have seen them all hundreds of times and every time it is just as amazing as the first. Seeing my grandparents youthful and thriving or my parents on Christmas morning in 1985 waking to see what Santa brought, each print tells a story. The sentimental feeling I get each time I open an album or a photo box is the feeling that I strive to give each individual that opens their gallery after a session.
When I’m not behind the camera, you can usually find me at home with my husband and our pups. I love making TikToks mostly about my home, which I’m always decorating or rearranging. Interior design constantly inspires me (especially spaces that look like your grandma designed them), and I’m always dreaming up new ideas to recreate that cozy, timeless feel.
The older I get, the more I fall in love with Pinterest, so you’ll definitely catch me scrolling there for inspiration too. Music is another big source of creativity for me, which is why when I post your photos on social media, I almost always already have the perfect song picked out to match your story.
